Why Choose a Cavapoo?

Cavapoos have become a favourite with families looking for a small, affectionate companion with a cheerful personality. They are a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, bringing together characteristics from both breeds. They are generally known for being affectionate, intelligent, playful and very people-oriented. Their friendly nature can make them wonderful companions, although every puppy is different and their individual temperament should always be considered.

A Cavapoo can be a lovely choice for someone looking for a companion who enjoys being involved in everyday family life. They can be playful when it’s time for fun and equally happy enjoying some quiet time with the people they know and trust. Like any dog, Cavapoos still need proper training, exercise, grooming, attention and companionship. They aren’t simply a low-maintenance breed because of their size, and prospective owners should be prepared for the responsibility that comes with bringing a puppy home.

Cavapoos are generally small to medium-sized dogs, with their adult size depending on their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle parentage. Most of our Cavapoos grow to a comfortable toy-to-miniature size, typically weighing around 5–8 kg when fully grown. Their height and build can vary, particularly depending on the size of the Poodle parent. Most reach close to their adult height within their first year, then continue to fill out as they mature.

Yes, Cavapoos can make lovely family pets and are often affectionate, playful and people-focused.
